My condolences to the family. Bill was a very kind-hearted person. He had a great sense of humour, even if he could catch me out sometimes, and that gave us a good giggle once I caught on. He helped me complete my garage and did some windows for me at my place, among other things. He loved his dogs that I knew, Katie and Poppy. We spent a Christmas day together. I loved watching his trains on the tracks he set up in a garage in Raetihi. I knew he took them all with him to Wanganui, and I saw them being set up. I had a couple of visits with a cuppa after he moved to Wanganui. I still have items he built for me. Great memories of him and they will never be forgotten. RIP Bill

I knew Bill for many years when I lived in Raetihi he lived beside my late Aunty he always had a smile quite mischief would help if he could, Bill started my son on Model Railroad a hobby they both enjoyed they spent many hours watching his trains, If you were looking for Bill you could always find him in his shed working on his layout or building, We are sorry to hear Bills passing we have fond memories of Bill he will be missed Condolences to the Family.
